1. Who we are

This privacy policy applies to newyorkhalfoff.info (the "Site"), operated by New York Half Off ("we," "us," or "our"). We are an independent patient-information and price-comparison platform for plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. We do not perform surgery and are not a medical provider.

2. Information we collect

We keep what we collect to the minimum needed to serve you. The information depends on how you use the Site:

• Contact and quote-request information. When you request a free cost comparison or consultation, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, the procedure you are interested in, and the state or area where you live.
• Newsletter subscription. When you subscribe to our price-watch newsletter, we collect your email address.
• Information you volunteer. Details you share with us by phone, email or form about your candidacy, health or goals — sensitive information you choose to provide in the context of requesting surgeon matching.
• Automatically collected data. When you visit the Site, we may receive technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL and timestamps.

We do not collect payment card data. Surgeon consultation fees, if any, are arranged between you and the surgeon or practice directly.

• To respond to your requests and connect you with vetted, board-certified surgeons and practices for quote comparison.
• To send you the newsletter or updates you requested, and honor your opt-outs.
• To improve the Site, our guides, and our content quality.
• To protect the security and integrity of the Site and prevent misuse or fraud.
• To comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for behavioral advertising.

4. How we share information

We share information only in a limited set of circumstances:

• Surgeons and practices you request. When you ask for a quote comparison, we may share your contact details and requested procedure with the vetted practices best suited to respond. You can stop this at any time.
• Service providers. We use third-party providers for hosting, analytics, email delivery and form processing, who process data only on our instructions.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
• Business transfers. If the Site, or our assets, are sold or transferred, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use minimal cookies and similar technologies to make the Site work and to understand aggregate usage:

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including TLS encryption for data in transit, access controls and staff training, to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for substantial changes, post a notice on the homepage. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
